Since 2005 the Southern Cruzers have donated $103,000.00+ from The Summer Spectacular (Car Show/Swap Meet/Craft Fair) to local charities and scholarships. This is why most of our members give of their time to work at our events, to generate $$ to help others. We also do "mini-shows" (Club Cars only) for non-profit & for-profit organizations.
It's exposure for the Southern Cruzers and a big draw for the events we attend.

We donate "Summer Spectaclar" profits to charities & scholarships, which are listed below, as well as our time to do our "mini-shows".

2017 $2000.00 TSS Profits awarded to:
Eagan Open Door Pantry..........$1000.00
Dakota County Technical College.....$500.00
Beyond The Yellow Ribbon.............$500.00

2016 Charities
The Southern Cruzers have a good reputation for helping out the needy causes in their community, and this year is no exception. The Summer Spectacular for 2016 ended up to be a little damp, which kept the participant numbers down. It was decided at the October meeting that the $6,000.00 would be split into three parts. Three thousand dollars would go to the top vote getter; two thousand to the second; and one thousand to the 3rd. At the November club meeting, a vote was held and the three winners decided. Let’s Go Fishing was the top vote getter and received $3,000.00. The Eagan Open Door Food Shelf was second for $2,000.00, and Mary Jo Copeland’s Sharing & Caring Hands got the final $1000.00.
